Hey everyone. We regret to announce that the MARCH CHALLENGE has been canceled.

To everyone who submitted entries on the theme "Tell your mother," we apologize for the inconvenience. All entries to the March Challenge will be carried over into this month's April Challenge.So stay tuned for an update on the April Challenge, keep an eye out for posters around campus, and tell your friends. We're pretty stoked about the upcoming April Challenge, and we think it might just turn out to be the best yet.

- The date of this Facebook event, APRIL 1 is the SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE for the March Challenge

- Mark all submissions with your name, major, and class year

- Submit your piece at the VASA office in the GW mezzanine ( 9:30am - 5:00pm Mon-Fri ) anytime before, or on, the Deadline date

- The exhibit/open vote will be Sunday APRIL 4 in the Monkey Bar Lounge

- Voting is open to the public as always !

January Challenge - Retrospective

The first ever Art Challenge took place in January, 2010. With limited advertising and no official prizes, it was nevertheless a fantastic turnout. We received a lot of wonderful work on the theme "Identy, Struggle, Muse, Collapse." Liam Ahern, Bryony Redhead, and Jensine Eckwall were the January winners.

SVA Art Challenge

The SVA Art Challenge is a newly founded competition for students at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Competitions are held monthly, and all members of the SVA community are invited to participate, creating artworks in any medium. At the close of the challenge, artwork is displayed in an exhibit, and winners are chosen by an open vote. Winners receive cash prizes.
